Transformation
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what Gods will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
There was a program on television entitled, from underdog to super dog. One night I watched as a yorkie who had lived on the street and was dirty, unkept, malnourished, and fearful of everything, was featured. He was brought in bathed and groomed so that he looked wonderful on the outside but fear remained and he had to learn to trust and obey his master in order to be at his best. This demonstration of love and care he received was probably the first little dog had encountered on his life. He responded to the love shown by those who rescued him. My thoughts turned to our prodigals. Often times they are on the street dirty and unkept. What would it look like if we chose to give them unconditional love. Lets ask the Father to give us His love for all underdogs, that His love would pour out of us like never before. Then, just maybe we will see Gods transformation accomplished in their lives and ours.
